After working on this chair for months, it feels so good to share it with everyone. I joined forces with my pal and talented-to-the-max leatherworker Natalie Davis of Canoe to build the Open Road Armchair. Natalie worked her magic on the veg tan leather, stitching it by hand one tiny perfect stitch at a time onto the welded steel frame by me. The finished chair is something I feel proud of, and I'm grateful that I got to make it happen with a fellow female designer down here in Texas.
The chair is available for order starting today, and we'll also be showing it off in person at this year's Feliz sale on November 2 at the Palm Door. So y'all come check it out! Natalie and I just might coordinate our outfits on accident/purpose again.
